The Notes feature allows users to document and track important information related to contacts, opportunities, and companies. This guide will walk you through where notes can be found, how they function in different sections, and how to manage them effectively. Feel free to add code snippets, embed videos, files, images and checklists in these sections where applicable. Feature 1 - Contacts ModuleNotes can be created and viewed only for the selected contact. Each contact has an individual Notes section where you can add, search, and filter notes. Feature 2 - Opportunities ModuleBy default, you will see all notes associated with the primary contact of the opportunity.
You can apply filters to view additionalcontacts’ notes linked to the opportunity. Feature 3 - Companies ModuleThe Notes section consolidates all notes from contacts linked to that company. This provides a company-wide view of relevant discussions and updates across associated contacts.
How to Use Notes
? Adding a NoteNavigate to the Notes tab. Click + Add Note to create a new note. Enter your text and save.
Searching for NotesUse the Search bar to find notes by keywords. Notes can be sorted by Date Created to help with chronological tracking. Filtering NotesYou can filter notes by associated contacts to view relevant entries for multiple linked contacts. In the Opportunities module, apply filters to check notes from additional contacts.
Viewing NotesNotes are displayed in a list format, showing the timestamp and the creator's name. Association Tag: Notes associated with specific contacts can be identified using the contact name link.
