The reports library

Occupancy, average nightly rate, revenue and more — every report built automatically from your real bookings, with comparisons against last year.

Reporting is where your bookings turn into answers: how full you were, what a night actually earned, where the money came from and where it's heading. Open Reporting in the top navigation. Everything is built automatically from your bookings — the same bookings that sit on your calendar — so the reports and the calendar can never tell you two different stories.

What's inside

The page is organised into tabs: an overview, then deeper views for occupancy, revenue, booking sites, bookings, and pace and forecast. The main numbers, in plain terms:

  • Occupancy — the share of the nights you could have sold that you did sell.
  • Average nightly rate (ADR) — what a sold night actually earned on average. It's the achieved rate, after any special or coupon discount, not the advertised one.
  • Revenue per available room (RevPAR) — occupancy and rate rolled into one: accommodation revenue spread across every room, sold or not. It's the fairest single measure of how hard your property is working.
  • Revenue — over time, both before and after booking-site commission.
  • Plus average length of stay, how far ahead guests book, and your cancellation rate.

The labels adapt to what you run. A motel sees rooms and revenue per available room; holiday units see units and revenue per available unit. Only the words change — never the maths.

Date ranges and comparisons

A shared bar at the top sets the period — quick presets or a custom range — and how finely to slice it. Turn on a comparison to see every figure against the same time last year (aligned by day of week, so a Saturday is compared with a Saturday) or against the period just before. You can also filter to a single booking site or room type.

You can count on two clocks: by stay dates (when guests were in the building) or by booking dates (when the bookings were made). A three-night stay is three nights on the first clock and one booking on the second. Stay dates answer "how did March go?"; booking dates answer "how busy was the phone in March?".

Looking back in time

Set the as of date and every figure restates itself as it stood at the end of that day — what you actually had on the books then, not what eventually happened. That's how you answer "where were we this time last year?" honestly. The control tells you how far back it can reliably go: if your booking history was imported without its original booking dates, Accommador says so rather than showing a misleading zero.

Where to next

The Dashboard shows the same numbers at a glance, the booking-site report shows who's earning their commission, and any table here can be exported for your accountant.
