Honest comparison

Accommador vs Little Hotelier: $49/mo, Until You Read the 1%.

Little Hotelier’s own FAQ says the 1% fee on the $49 plan applies to every booking you take — walk-ins and phone calls included — which works out to roughly $1,117 a month on a full 30-room property. Accommador is $500 flat, with the marketing that actually fills the rooms built in, not metered.

The core difference

What each platform is actually for

Credit where it’s due: Little Hotelier shows you a price and runs a real free trial. Twelve of the 16 platforms sold here won’t do either.

The difference is what each one is for. Little Hotelier keeps your bookings tidy: reservations, booking sites, a booking page, payments.

Accommador does that and fills the rooms. Emails, texts and WhatsApp bring past guests back, you can see which ads earned a booking, and when a guest asks for dates that break your minimum stay, they get your three nearest open nights instead of "no availability".

Why operators pick us

The case against Little Hotelier, in plain terms

Little Hotelier is the honest budget option and we won’t pretend otherwise. Here is where the maths turns:

  1. Their 1% is on your takings, not on software.

The $49 plan takes 1% of gross bookings, and their own FAQ says that covers online and offline — so walk-ins and phone bookings are taxed too. At 30 rooms, $180 a night, 65% full, that’s about $1,117 a month. The headline was $49.

  2. Adding a room can’t put you in a dearer bracket.

Their fee-free plan is banded by room count: go from 20 rooms to 21 and it jumps 13%, from $305 to $345, for exactly the same software. We removed brackets entirely — $500 covers whatever you run.

  3. There is no ceiling to grow into.

Little Hotelier’s own product stops taking self-serve sign-ups above 30 rooms, and every plan reads "Contact sales" past 50. Past that you don’t upgrade, you migrate — their parent’s product is a channel manager, not a front desk. We stay one system, whatever your room count.

  4. The marketing is in the price, not on the roadmap.

At no tier does Little Hotelier give you campaigns, a real guest database, ad tracking or a reviews workflow — those are the things that actually grow direct bookings, and they’re most of what our $500 is buying you.

  5. Your books reconcile themselves.

Their Xero path is a manual CSV export you import by hand. Ours reconciles itself — a few hours a month back for most operators.

  6. You can work out your bill in advance.

Four of their revenue lines have no published rate — card processing, metasearch commission, Channels Plus commission and the Pro setup fee. Ours is one number, and it’s the number.

The one test to run before any demo

Search dates that break your minimum-stay rule

Most booking pages answer "no availability" and the guest is gone. Accommador shows the three nearest open nights with prices, so the near miss becomes a booking.

The full pricing picture

Their FAQ says it applies to online and offline bookings, so walk-ins and phone bookings are taxed too. A 30-room property at $180 a night and 65% occupancy pays about $1,117 a month on that plan. Their fixed tier, Pro, is $345 at your size with no booking fee — but add guest emails and a website and you’re at $529, and it still doesn’t run campaigns or track your ads.

All in$1,525/moto match us on the fee-free plan — or about $1,117/mo on the advertised $49 plan once the 1% is added, before any of the above

30-room Australian independent, $180 ADR, 65% occupancy, checked 2026-07-26. $345 is Little Hotelier’s own published figure; the 1% is their own published fee; every other line is our market rate for buying that capability elsewhere, not their charge. $345 + $1,180 = $1,525.

FAQ

Questions operators ask

No, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Their $49 plan starts lower — until you read the 1% fee on every booking, which is about $1,117/mo on a full 30-room property. Their fee-free plan, Pro, is $345 for the software alone with none of the marketing we bundle.

Yes — their own FAQ says the fee is charged on gross reservations from online and offline bookings. Walk-ins and phone bookings are included.
