Accommador vs Lodgify: Half Price This Year. Then What?
Lodgify publishes its price, which is rare in this category, and under about 15 units it’s genuinely cheaper than us. But it bills per unit with no ceiling — $607/mo at 30 rooms, $1,266 at 80 — and the price you’re quoted right now is likely a 50%-off promo. Ours is $500/mo flat, in Australian dollars, for life on our first ten operators.
- Flat $500/mo — every room included, no meter running
- Billed in Australian dollars, not USD, EUR or GBP
- Runs the whole property, not just the website

Accommador vs Lodgify, side by side
| Capability | Accommador | Lodgify |
|---|---|---|
| Transparent public pricing | $500/mo or $5,000/yr — no demo needed | published in full — but billed per bookable unit in US dollars, with no ceiling, and no AUD option at all |
| Marketing suite included (email/SMS/WhatsApp, CRM, reputation) | built in | Transactional guest emails only — no campaigns, no guest database, no reviews |
| Booking engine | your own booking page, and it understands your stay rules | a genuinely strong no-code website builder with a booking button |
| Wins min-stay searches (alternative dates) | shows the 3 nearest bookable dates with prices | Guests just get “no availability” |
| Channel manager included | 50+ booking sites | Syncs 3–4 major sites by direct connection (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com) — everything else is availability-only iCal |
| Server-side ad attribution (survives Apple’s cookie cap) | see which ads book rooms | Doesn’t do it |
| Payments + security-bond holds | card payments, security bond held automatically | Their own payments product is for US hosts only; an Australian operator bolts on a third-party gateway |
| Self-reconciling Xero | reconciles itself | Not built in — no Xero, no MYOB anywhere |
| AU-based support | Australian — you speak to the founder | An Australian phone number, staffed 10am–7pm GMT — about 8pm to 5am here |
Lodgify pricing read from their own published price list, July 2026, converted from US dollars at that month’s rate — confirm current pricing and capabilities on lodgify.com before relying on them.
What each platform is actually for
Lodgify answers one question well: "I have a holiday rental — how do I get a cheap website with a booking button and keep my Airbnb and Booking.com calendars in sync?"
Accommador answers a bigger one: how do you run this as a business that fills its own rooms? Rates, stay rules and housekeeping underneath; 50+ booking sites in sync; emails and texts that bring past guests back; card payments that hold the security bond; and a booking page that offers the guest another night instead of turning them away.
A website gets you listed. This gets you booked, rebooked and reconciled.
The case against Lodgify, in plain terms
Lodgify is a good product and it publishes its price — rare in this category. Here’s where it stops being enough for a whole property:
No front desk, because it isn’t built for one.
There’s no walk-in handling, no folio, no night audit, no room moves and no group bookings — those words don’t appear anywhere on Lodgify’s own site. If a guest can turn up at your door, you need the other half of the software.
The meter never stops.
Every extra unit adds roughly $13–15 a month with no ceiling. A 30-room property pays about $607 a month, an 80-room one about $1,266. Ours is $500 flat, whatever you run.
You can’t pay them in Australian dollars.
Their own pricing system flatly rejects AUD — US dollars, euros or pounds only. You carry the exchange rate and a foreign-transaction card fee on a bill that moves every month.
Their phone line is open while you’re asleep.
They list an Australian number, but their support hours are 10am to 7pm GMT — roughly 8pm to 5am here. A Saturday-morning booking problem has no one to call.
This year’s price isn’t next year’s price.
Right now they’re running a 50% site-wide discount plus deeper influencer codes, so most quotes are around half the list price you’d actually renew at. Our first ten operators hold their price for life.
Half the growth side simply isn’t there.
No email campaigns, no guest database, no review management, no SMS or WhatsApp marketing, no ad tracking, and no Xero or MYOB anywhere in their product. Their answer is a marketplace of separate paid subscriptions.
Search dates that break your minimum-stay rule
Most booking pages answer "no availability" and the guest is gone. Accommador shows the three nearest open nights with prices, so the near miss becomes a booking.

Both bills, side by side
Three sections follow, each answering a different money question — so three different totals, on purpose.

The full pricing picture
Their cheapest two plans cap at one and two rentals, so any real property is on Professional or Ultimate: about A$291 a month at 10 units, A$607 at 30, A$1,266 at 80, with no ceiling. Below about 15 units they are cheaper than us and we’ll say so. Note the price you’re quoted is usually a heavy first-year discount — the renewal is the real number.
$500/mo, or $5,000/yr paid yearly — about two months free.
What that includes
Every room included, whatever you run. Everything is in it, and we take no cut of a direct booking: the 15–25% the booking sites charge is what you stop paying.

Lodgify’s own plain list price for their Professional plan at 30 bookable units, converted from their live pricing feed at spot rates on 2026-07-26 — not the 50%-off promo price a prospect is likely to see right now, which looks tempting until renewal. Whether a 30-room property is billed as 30 units depends on how Lodgify counts a rental, which isn’t documented anywhere in their own material, so treat the room-count reading as illustrative.

All in≈$1,167/moat 30 rooms — against our published $500/mo flat
30 rooms read as 30 bookable units on Lodgify’s Professional plan, checked 2026-07-26. $607 is Lodgify’s own published figure; every line above is our market rate for buying that capability elsewhere, not a Lodgify charge. $607 + $560 = $1,167.
What Lodgify’s own fee lines add up to
Lodgify’s own charges, not our estimate of a matching bundle.
Ultimate at 30 units (Lodgify’s own live pricing API), US$579.52/mo converted at market-spot FX (AUD = USD ÷ 0.6973, 24 Jul 2026) — the plan needed for feature parity with Accommador (task management, check-in automation, owner statements are all Ultimate-only), so a higher plan than the Professional tier used in the Real Bill block above. Whether a 30-room property is billed as 30 separate units or fewer via pooled room types is UNVERIFIED — Lodgify’s own documentation doesn’t specify; the worst case (30 billed units) is modelled here.

- Booking feeA$0/mo
RETIRED — do not resurrect. Prior materials cited a 1.9% Lodgify booking fee; confirmed dead: all tiers are 0%, no StarterFee plan exists in their live pricing API, /terms/booking-fee/ 404s.

Lodgify cannot bill in AUD at all (their pricing API returns HTTP 400 for “aud”; only USD/EUR/GBP). An AU card issuer typically adds a ~3% international transaction surcharge on a USD-denominated recurring charge — a structural cost of how Lodgify bills, not a Lodgify-imposed fee.

HIGH on the booking fee (confirmed dead) — MEDIUM on the 30-billed-units assumption, which is the real driver of Lodgify’s cost, not a hidden fee. By a wide margin the smallest gap in this set, because there genuinely isn’t one — the real Lodgify story is the per-unit meter, not a hidden fee.

Questions operators ask
Under about 15 bookable units, yes, and we’ll say so plainly. Above that their per-unit pricing overtakes our flat $500/mo — at 30 rooms they’re around $607, at 80 rooms $1,266, with no ceiling.
No — that fee was retired. Every current Lodgify plan charges 0% on direct bookings, same as us.
No — those aren’t part of the product. It’s built for holiday-rental hosts, not for a property someone can walk into.
No — US dollars, euros or pounds only. Their own pricing system rejects AUD outright, so you carry the exchange rate on a bill that moves every month.
Email marketing, a guest database, review management, SMS or WhatsApp campaigns, ad tracking, and Xero — none of it is native to Lodgify. It’s all separate paid subscriptions.
