The setup assistant: ask questions as you go

A built-in chat assistant that can see your property and your setup progress — ask it what's left to do and it points you to the right screen.

You don't have to work through setup alone. Accommador has a built-in setup assistant — a chat panel that can see your real account, so its answers are about your property, not a generic manual.

How to open it

On any screen in the app, click the Setup assistant button in the bottom-right corner. The panel opens; type a question and press Enter. Your conversation survives a page refresh, so you can wander off to a screen it pointed you at and come back to where you left off.

What it knows

The assistant reads your actual setup state. Ask “What do I still need to set up?” and it answers from what's really configured — your property's details, how far your rooms and dates have come — rather than reciting a checklist. It also knows where things live: when a step happens on a particular screen, it offers a Go to … button. It never moves you anywhere itself; you choose whether to click.

If you mention you already have a website, it can read it and draft your property details for you to check — see Start from your website.

What it's for

The assistant is built for the early stages of setup: telling Accommador about your place, and the rooms and data questions that follow. That's when the questions are thickest — what's permanent, what order to do things in, where a screen lives. Ask it something well outside setup and it will steer you back to the board rather than guess.

It can't change anything

The assistant reads; it never writes. It can't create, edit or delete anything in your account — the most it does is offer a button to the screen where you make the change yourself. So ask freely: there's no question you can type that alters your property.

Troubleshooting

The panel says the assistant isn't available

The assistant isn't switched on for your account yet. Nothing else is affected — every setup screen works without it, and the setup board still walks you through going live stage by stage.

Is it the same as the guest assistant?

No. The setup assistant is for you, while you set up. The assistant that answers your guests' questions is a separate, later stage of setup — see AI tools.
