How tasks appear and stay current
Jobs generate overnight for today and tomorrow and follow your bookings: move a booking and its clean moves, cancel it and the job goes. Work already started is never touched.
You never build the job list. Accommador generates it from your bookings, keeps it current when bookings change, and leaves finished work alone. Here's what happens when, so nothing about the list surprises you.
When jobs appear
Every night, Accommador looks at your bookings and generates the jobs for today and tomorrow — in your property's own time zone, so the morning list exists before your morning does. Checking a guest out raises the departure clean immediately as well, so an early checkout doesn't wait for tonight's run. That job carries the departure date; pull it forward if the cleaner can start now.
Repeating jobs on an interval — the six-monthly safety check — appear when they fall due, counted from the last time the work was completed.
When a booking changes, its jobs follow
- The dates move — the clean at the old date is cancelled and one is created at the right date. Changes within the next day or so take effect immediately; anything further out is picked up by the overnight run.
- The room changes — the same job is re-pointed at the new room. Nothing is lost, and nothing doubles up.
- The booking is cancelled — its waiting jobs are cancelled with it.
This applies however the change arrives — made by you, or coming in from a booking site. A nightly sweep double-checks everything, so even an odd edge case is tidied within a day.
Work already started is protected
Only jobs still waiting are ever adjusted. A job someone has started, or finished, is never cancelled or moved by the system. If the booking behind it was cancelled after the clean was done, the clean stays on the record as work that genuinely happened — see completed work, kept forever.
Your decisions stick
Reschedule a generated job freely — moving it never causes a duplicate to appear that night. And if you cancel a generated job, it stays cancelled: the system won't quietly re-create the clean you decided against. If you change your mind later, raise the same job by hand from its template.
Troubleshooting
A guest never showed up — why is the clean still there?
That's deliberate. A no-show room may still need attention — the bed may need stripping even if nobody officially stayed. Accommador leaves the call to you: do the job, or cancel it.
I cancelled a clean by mistake
Create the same job manually — open the booking on the calendar and use its Tasks panel to create one from the same template, or have a staff member raise it from their portal. Manual jobs never collide with generated ones.
Where do I see what's coming up?
Operations → Tasks for today across all properties, and Operations → Schedule for the days ahead — see the day's schedule. What triggers each job is set on its definition — see the task catalogue.
