Jobs that create themselves
Cleans and jobs generate themselves from your bookings, against the right rooms. Three standard cleans are set up from day one — no more texting the cleaner a morning list.
Every stay creates work — a clean when the guests leave, a service partway through a long stay, a once-over before the next arrival. Accommador generates those jobs from your bookings, against the right rooms, so nobody writes a morning list. You stop texting the cleaner what to do; the day's work is already there when they open their phone.
Three cleans, set up from day one
When your property is created, three standard cleans are already in place:
- Turnover Clean — one for every departure, on the departure day.
- Prep Clean — before an arrival, when the room hasn't been cleaned in the last few days. A room that's sat empty gets a freshen-up; one cleaned yesterday doesn't.
- Recurring Clean — a regular service during longer stays. It's switched off until you opt in, so it never surprises you.
Each is a task definition you can rename, retime, restrict to certain room types, or switch off — see the task catalogue.
Where the work lives
- Operations → Tasks — every open job today, across all your properties: what, where, who's on it, and what's overdue.
- Operations → Schedule — the days ahead, plus a due-date view of repeating jobs. See the day's schedule.
- Operations → History — everything finished or cancelled, searchable — completed work, kept forever.
- Operations → Task Definitions — the catalogue where each kind of job is described once.
- Operations → Staff — the people who do the work, and their phone access to it — add your staff.
- Accounting → Task Billing — the money side of finished work — bill work to guests or owners.
It keeps itself current
Jobs generate overnight for today and tomorrow, in your property's own time zone, so the list exists before the morning does. Checking a guest out raises the departure clean straight away. Move a booking and its clean moves with it; cancel the booking and the job goes. Work someone has already started is never touched. The full rules are in how tasks appear and stay current.
When a clean that's set up to affect the room is completed, the room flips to ready on the calendar — see is the room ready to sell tonight?
More than housekeeping
The same system runs maintenance and inspections. Your team can raise a job they found — a dripping tap becomes a maintenance task from their phone — and a guest reporting a problem from their own portal lands as a job waiting to be claimed. An extra a guest orders can raise the job that delivers it — see extras that create jobs. And a finished job can carry charges to a guest or an owner, not just a tick.
Where to start
- Add the people who do the work at Operations → Staff and send them their portal links — the staff portal on a phone.
- Look over the three cleans at Operations → Task Definitions and adjust the timing to how you actually run.
- Open Operations → Tasks tomorrow morning. The list is already there.
