Connect Stripe or PayDollar

Connect a card gateway and get paid before guests arrive — payment links, deposits on your booking page and card-held bonds, with card details never touching Accommador.

Until a card gateway is connected, every payment is a phone call, a card machine, or a bank transfer you chase by hand. Connect Stripe or PayDollar and you can send a guest a payment link and be paid before they arrive, take deposits on your own booking page, and hold a security bond on a card instead of taking cash you later have to give back.

What connecting unlocks

Card numbers never touch Accommador

Guests type their card details on Stripe's or PayDollar's own secure payment page — never into Accommador, and never within earshot of your front desk. Your gateway credentials are stored encrypted, and once saved they're never displayed again.

Connect Stripe

  1. Open Accounting → Payments and go to the gateway setup.
  2. Choose Stripe and paste the secret key from your Stripe dashboard. Accommador reads test or live mode from the key itself.
  3. In your Stripe dashboard, add the address shown on the setup page to Stripe's webhook settings — it's how Stripe tells Accommador the moment a payment lands. Stripe then gives you a signing secret; paste it back into Accommador.
  4. Click Save credentials, then Test credentials. You want green.

Connect PayDollar

  1. In the same setup, choose PayDollar.
  2. Paste your Merchant ID, secure-hash secret and currency.
  3. Paste your API loginId and API password. PayDollar issues these separately from the secure-hash secret, and Accommador needs them for refunds and bond handling — ask PayDollar if you don't have them.
  4. Save, then test.

You can run both at once

Stripe and PayDollar can be connected side by side, each with its own job — one taking ordinary charges, the other holding bonds. See choose which gateway does which job.
