The ready-made check-in flows

Accommador starts you with a check-in flow matched to your kind of property — front-desk style or whole-unit handover style. Use it as-is or make it yours.

You don't build your check-in flow from a blank page. The first time you open Guests → Guest Journey, Accommador has already set up a starter flow matched to the kind of property you run. Use it exactly as it is, or treat it as scaffolding and make it yours.

The front-desk flow

For hotels, motels and other properties with a staffed desk, the starter flow keeps it short:

  1. Confirm your details — the guest checks the contact details on the booking are right (required).
  2. Extra guests — who else is coming (optional).
  3. Sign the house rules — opens 72 hours before arrival, once details are confirmed (required).

The whole-unit flow

For holiday rentals, houseboats and anything handed over whole, the starter flow reflects the bigger handover:

  1. Confirm your details (required).
  2. Crew details — every person coming, including naming who will be in charge of the boat where that applies (required).
  3. Sign the hire agreement — opens 72 hours before arrival (required).

The whole-unit starter also includes example steps for later in the journey — a briefing form for arrival day, a departure feedback form, and an arrival-details step — so you can see how during-stay and check-out steps work before you build your own.

Signable out of the box

Any step that asks for a signature comes with a placeholder document, so the flow works from day one. Replace the placeholder with your real house rules or hire agreement before you switch the journey on — see house rules and signed terms.

Make it yours

The starter is a starting point, not a straitjacket. You can reorder steps, change which are required, add more — payments, a bond, ID capture, your own forms, appointment booking, add-ons — and remove anything that doesn't fit. See edit your check-in flow.

Two things worth knowing. Your starter flow is created once and never overwrites edits you've made — Accommador won't reset your work. And having a flow doesn't message anyone: nothing is sent to guests until you switch the journey on — see when guests get their check-in link.

Troubleshooting

My property changed — can I switch to the other style?

The starter you get follows your accommodation type, but nothing is locked in. Both styles are built from the same step types, so you can reshape your flow into either through the flow editor.
