Move a booking to another room or other dates

Plans change — a guest extends, a room needs maintenance, or you want to shuffle stays to open up a longer run of free nights. On the calendar, all of that is a drag.

Move to another room

Drag the booking's bar from one room's row to another. That includes rooms of a different room type — a booking made for a Queen room can be moved onto a King if that is where you want the guest. You can also drag a booking back to the Unassigned lane of a room type if you want to decide the room later.

Change the dates

Drag the bar sideways to shift the whole stay to different dates, or drag its end to lengthen or shorten it. The nights you free up go straight back on sale, and the nights you take come off sale — on your booking page and on every connected booking site, automatically.

What happens to the price

Nothing. Moving a booking changes which room the guest sleeps in, not what they agreed to pay — the price stays exactly as booked, even when you move it to a dearer or cheaper room type. If the new room genuinely should cost something different, change the price as its own step, so the decision is deliberate rather than a side effect of a drag.

When the calendar refuses a drop

If the nights you are dropping onto are not actually free, the booking snaps back to where it was and a message tells you the room is not available. Nothing has changed — the refusal is Accommador protecting you from a double-booking, not a fault. Pick different nights or a different room.

Everything is recorded

Every move — room, room type, or dates — is written to the booking's History tab with who made it and when, so you can always answer "why is this booking in room 4 now?"

Troubleshooting

Can I move a booking that came from a booking site?

Yes. Which physical room a guest sleeps in is your call — the booking site only ever sold a room type. Moving the booking between rooms changes nothing for the guest or the site; it is purely how you run the house.
